Festive greetings everyone,
After a suggestion by a parent to be a little greener and send out homework electronically, the dolphin class will be trialling using the weblog to post homework. Attached is the homework for the christmas period. Home Activities Sheet- christmas
The excitement of performing the final performance is certainly felt in the primary today!
All our children are stars and we are very, very proud of them all
A special thank you to everyone who has helped to make this possible… parents, colleagues and most of all our children
We have been completing lots of number investigations in Owl Class this week.
The children selected a two digit number. They then counted back between 1-9 using a number square to help them. They looked at patterns and relationships between the numbers. They recorded their calculations as a number sentence.
The children selected a two digit number card. They made the number using tens and units. The children then ordered the numbers from smallest to largest.
All the children did a fantastic job of acting and singing during our Christmas production today.
I can’t wait to see the final performance on Thursday!
Today The monkey,Owl and Panda classes all went to the Dr. de Visser School to celebrate and meet Sinterklass.
We waited outside to see him arrive with our Piet hats on.
We sang Sinterklaas songs with all the children from our partner Dutch school Dr. de Visser.
We then went inside to have our very own audience with Sinterklaas and 2 very naughty helpers.
They even tried to hide our presents….
We all had a lot of fun and got some fantastic presents from Sinterklaas.
Thank you also to all the mums who came along to help and drive us all back to school:-)
Its that time of year again and we are all busy preparing for the Christmas play. As you can see we are hard at work.
Looks like we we might have to look at the Robot costumes again:-)
Luckily Ruben and Konrad’s mum was on hand to make some adjustments.Thank you:-)
