Anti-Bullying Week

 Next week we will be holding a special Anti-Bullying Week. All the children in the primay will be taking part in a range of activities to promote anti-bullying.

On Thursday we will all be wearing blue in support of anti-bullying.  


School Council Elections

All the children from Reception to Year 6 have had the opportunity to put themselves forward to be elected as our School Councillor.

Well done to all the children who have taken part in the school council elections by running their own campaign. We are very proud of you all! Good luck to everyone. The results of the elections will be announced on Monday afternoon. 


Monday Parents IPC Meeting

On Monday at 3.15 pm Mrs Hagenaars will be holding a meeting about the International Primary Curriculum and the Personal Learning Goals. The meeting is for all interested parents and will be held in the Dove classroom.

Open Phonics Lessons

Thank you to the parents that attended the ‘Open Phonics Lessons’ during the last two weeks. We all hope this was a useful and interesting experience.

A number of parents of our said they were ‘enlightened’ by the phonics lessons and asked if we could hold a parents phonics information session about how we teach phonics. We will organise a session and confirm a date in the next newsletter.
